October to Bring Typical Autumn Weather to Bulgaria

The upcoming month of October will bring typical autumn weather in Bulgaria, with cold, foggy mornings and the first frosts, as well as pleasant days featuring periods of a return to summer-like conditions.

According to the weather forecast, average temperatures will remain around seasonal norms, while rainfall is expected to be near or above the usual levels across most of the country.

This October, the average monthly temperature is expected to be around the seasonal norm, which ranges between 11 and 15°C in the lowlands, 10 and 13°C in the higher plains, and 0 and 7°C in mountainous areas.

The highest temperatures in October are expected to range between 22 and 27°C, while the lowest will be between -5 and 0°C, with higher minimum temperatures in the eastern parts of the country.

Monthly rainfall totals are expected to be around or above the seasonal norm, which is between 40 and 70 litres per square metre across most of the country and between 50 and 100 litres per square metre in the southeastern regions.
