The SportAnalytik program tests and discovers the individual sports talent of every child. The goal of the platform is not to find professional athletes, but to provide reliable and practical information about the sport discipline where a child could feel most satisfied and happy, which in turn would result in improved physical health and sports culture.
The driving force behind the program in Bulgaria is Andrei Andreev – former tennis player, former CEO of the National Tennis Center in Sofia with the Bulgarian Tennis Federation, owner, and manager of sports clubs in Bulgaria, Austria, Croatia, and China. His international experience spreads from Sofia to Beijing, where he worked as the sports director of Dulwich College International, the city's biggest international school.
The problem that Andrei has encountered in his long-year career as a coach and sports manager is children with low motor literacy and excessive weight. According to the latest national diet survey, an average of 30% of girls and 13% of boys in Bulgaria are overweight. In big cities, this share reaches 40%. This problem is further aggravated by the low physical activity levels. It has been found that Bulgarian children spend an average of 26 hours a week in front of the computer, unlike their Dutch counterparts, where this time is limited to 14 hours a week.
The solution that Andrei has found is the SportAnalytik program, developed at the Karlovy University in Prague, which is already working successfully in 22 countries. SportsAnalytik has been used by over 500,000 children for the past five years. The program is suitable for children aged 5-13.
How does SportAnalytik work?
The physical skills of children are measured through nine fun physical tests and the results of these tests are submitted to a special software. Using an algorithm, the program produces individual reports featuring information about the best sports for each of the tested children and their innate physical talent that can be developed.
The mission of Andrei with SportAnalytik is to help children find the right sport for them and encourage them to embrace a healthy lifestyle.
PROMYANATA (The Change) he seeks to achieve:
Andrei's big dream is to support the creation of a young society of active and physically fit children and teenagers, who have good health and mobility culture. Children who do sports that makes them feel happy and satisfied.
Therefore, he wants SportAnalytik to reach every child in every corner of Bulgaria. Andrei wants to develop a network of sport clubs and coaches to join his mission. To improve the health culture and education of the future generation so today's children can become active and healthy young people who like to move and find pleasure in sports.
