Vice President Iliana Iotova and Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikolay Milkov presented the program to mark the anniversary

Bulgaria marks the 30th anniversary since the country became a full member of the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie. In November 1991 Bulgaria joined the community as an associate member and two years later, in October 1993, during the 5th Francophone summit on the island of Mauritius, it received the status of a full member.

Today, Vice President Iliana Iotova and Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikolay Milkov presented the program to mark the anniversary. The celebrations were held under the auspices of the Vice President.

88 countries are members of the organization established more than 50 years ago.
