They talked about recovery instrument created by the European Commission

Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Boyko Borissov and the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen have discussed the Commission’s proposal for the next multiannual financial framework 2021-2027. In a phone call they talked about the Next Generation EU recovery instrument created by the European Commission. It should help the EU countries repair the economic and social damage brought by the pandemic. Bulgaria fully supports the plan, Premier Borissov underlined.

He has informed Ursula von der Leyen on Bulgaria’s progress on its path toward ERM-II and the Banking Union.
