The head of government wished the diplomat the best of luck in her future pursuits
Bulgarian caretaker Prime Minister Galab Donev on Wednesday received US Ambassador in Sofia Herro Mustafa in connection with the completion of her tour in Bulgaria, the Government Information Service said.
The PM expressly highlighted the Ambassador's consistent support for the deepening of the strategic partnership between the two countries. Donev noted that tangible results had been achieved in recent years in key areas such as two-way trade and investments, security and defence, energy security and diversification, education, science and culture, and person-to-person contacts.
Donev expressed his confidence that after the completion of her successful service in Sofia, Mustafa will remain a friend of Bulgaria. In his words, the fact that during her posting here the Ambassador travelled over 60,000 km getting to know our country bears witness to her interest and respect for Bulgarian traditions and culture.
The head of government wished the diplomat the best of luck in her future pursuits and, in line with Bulgarian March 1 traditions, presented her with a martenitsa.
