Five of the other suspects are Belgian and one is Turkish

A Bulgarian man is among seven people arrested for planning a terrorist attack in Belgium, local media reported on Wednesday, citing a statement by the federal prosecutor's office.

Five of the other suspects are Belgian and one is Turkish. The detainees are charged with taking part in the activities of a terrorist group and five of them with plotting a terror attack. 

Earlier, the media noted that the detainees were linked to jihadists from the Islamic State. The same group claimed responsibility for the 22 March 2022 attacks in Brussels.
