Alex Nikolov is the top scorer in the Nations League

Bulgarian national team player Alexander Nikolov capped off his performance in this year's Volleyball Nations League with two individual awards, according to Gong.bg.

He was officially named the top scorer and most effective attacker in the prestigious global competition, despite the fact that Bulgaria failed to qualify for the final tournament in China.

Nikolov was in exceptional form throughout the tournament, scoring a total of 247 points on offense with a remarkable shooting percentage of 53.93%. These statistics proved sufficient to keep him at the top of the final individual standings, even after the final matches had been played.
