The reaction comes after Simeon Mihaylov's media appearances regarding the case against his daughter
North Macedonia’s Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski expects Bulgaria to act on the arrest warrant for Iva Mihaylova’s father and extradite him to North Macedonia. There, he will serve a 12-year sentence for an offense related to attempted murder.
Mitskoski’s reaction comes after Simeon Mihaylov appeared in the Bulgarian media and spoke publicly about the legal proceedings against his daughter in Kochani.
“We have an arrest warrant and we expect our partners to act in accordance with our partnership, because we are partners with our eastern neighbor in another alliance called NATO”, Mickoski said. He stated that he expects the individuals sought under the warrant - who are suspected or convicted of crimes - to be extradited and brought to justice.
