Vazrazhdane leader Kostadin Kostadinov enters presidential race

Vazrazhdane has nominated its leader Kostadin Kostadinov as its candidate in Bulgaria’s presidential election on October 25. MEP and long-time journalist Petar Volgin will stand as the party’s candidate for vice president.

The two candidacies were announced at the Independence Pyramid in Veliko Tarnovo during celebrations marking 118 years since Bulgaria declared independence.

Kostadinov stated that the Bulgarian people want independence, prosperity, unity, progress in education and science, as well as a strong State. He emphasized that this can be achieved by people who think independently and have no qualms about defending the Bulgarian national interest.
