More ambulances and medical teams along the Black Sea coast in August

Starting August 1, additional emergency medical teams and ambulances will be deployed along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast to ensure a faster response to accidents and medical emergencies during the busiest tourist season.

This measure is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Tourism and aims to ease the burden on emergency centers in resort areas, where the number of people increases significantly during the summer season.

The additional medical teams are expected to improve access to emergency care for both tourists and local residents by reducing response times when necessary.

“Ensuring the health and safety of tourists is one of our top priorities”, said Minister of Tourism Dr. Ilin Dimitrov.
