National flags of the institutions will be lowered by half

Bulgaria declared a day of national mourning today for the tragedy in Kochani as an expression of solidarity with the Republic of North Macedonia. The government of our country expressed condolences to the families of the victims. In memory of the victims, the national flags of state institutions in our country will be lowered by half during the day.

The fire that broke out at the Pulse disco on 16 March killed 59 people and left more than 155 injured and hospitalised. North Macedonia's Prosecutor General Ljupcho Kotsevski said that short-term detention had been requested for a total of 14 people.
