Michaela Dotsova was elected Speaker of the 52nd National Assembly. 188 of the 237 registered members of parliament voted in favor of her candidacy, none voted against, and 49 abstained. 

She is 42 years old. Educated lawyer. Doctor of Administrative Law.

"Vazrazhdane" candidate Petar Petrov received support for the position of Speaker of Parliament from only 12 of the 236 members of parliament who voted.
