Defense Minister: Iran carried out a very successful hybrid operation, supported by bulgarian politicians

According to him, the U.S. currently has no intention of returning the aircraft to Bulgaria

Iran carried out a “very well-executed hybrid operation”, unfortunately with the support of Bulgarian politicians. This was stated by Defense Minister Dimitar Stoyanov in response to a question from journalists about the latest intelligence reports and a potential threat from Tehran.

Opposition representatives asked him to name the specific parties and politicians who, in his view, had contributed to it. The minister refused to say names. According to him, politicians can judge for themselves whether their statements fall into this category.

He also declined to disclose specific information, emphasizing that it could not be made public. “What I would like to share is that Iran carried out a very effective hybrid operation, unfortunately with the support of Bulgarian opposition politicians. We can see the result. This hybrid operation will continue”, he said.
