A light earthquake with magnitude of 2.4 on the Richter scale was registered near Bulgaria's town of Batak at 10.09 am on Friday, the National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography reported.
The earthquake's epicentre was 9.4 kilometers from Batak, Pazardzhik region, and 119 kilometers from Sofia.
