The first case of a person who suffers from both COVID-19 and influenza A (H1N1) have been reported in Mexico. The patient is a 54-year-old woman who has autoimmune diseases, chronic lung disease and cancer.
The patient showed symptoms at the end of September and was hospitalized. Her condition is stable, doctors say.
Mexico ranks fourth in the world in the number of deaths from the coronavirus - 83,781. There are more than 817,500 registered infections.
