Yaneva won 9-1 over Solin Piearcy (US) who placed fourth at the 2022 World Cup
At the Dan Kolov - Nikola Petrov International Wrestling Tournament which ended in Sofia on Sunday, Greco-Roman wrestler Semen Novikov (87 kg) and freestyle wrestler Ramazan Ramazanov (70 kg) won the Golden Belts named after Nikola Petrov and Dan Kolov, which are awarded to the best Bulgarian wrestlers. Yuliana Yaneva was named Best Bulgarian Woman Wrestler.
Novikov, who is Ukrainian, won 7-3 over another Ukrainian, Yaroslav Filchakov. He told BTA he did not expect to be awarded the Golden Belt because "there are many strong guys in Bulgaria who could have won it".
Ramazanov won 6-0 over Servet Coskun (Turkiye). He told BTA the final was very difficult. A month before the European Wrestling Championships in Budapest, he believes he has enough time to prepare well.

Three Bulgarian freestyle wrestlers took bronze on Sunday: Miglena Selishka (79 kg), Evelina Nikolova (57 kg) by default, and Ilia Hristov (86 kg).

- Best Foreign Woman Wrestler: Akari Fujinami (Japan, 55 kg)
- Best Foreign Freestyle Wrestler: Kyle Snyder (US, 97 kg)
- Best Foreign Greco-Roman Wrestler: Akzhol Makhmudov (Kyrgyzstan, 77 kg)
- Best Bulgarian Woman Wrestler: Yuliana Yaneva (72 kg)
- Nikola Petrov Golden Belt: Semen Novikov (87 kg)
- Dan Kolov Golden Belt: Ramazan Ramazanov (70 kg).
