See who will represent the various political parties in the 52nd National Assembly

The Central Election Commission has published the list of the members of the new parliament. Five political parties will be represented in the 52nd National Assembly.

“Progressive Bulgaria” will hold an absolute majority of 131 MPs, after nearly 45% of voters who went to the polls on April 19 cast their ballots for the coalition. Several well-known athletes will become MPs for “Progressive Bulgaria”—Ivet Goranova, Vladimir Nikolov, Petar Stoychev, Yordan Yovchev and Encho Keryazov. Ministers in caretaker cabinets and advisors to Rumen Radev in the presidency will also take their seats in parliament: Galab Donev (former caretaker prime minister), Dimitar Stoyanov (former caretaker defense minister), and Ivan Demerdzhiev (former interior minister).

The second-largest political force - GERB-SDS, which garnered 13.4% of the vote, will have 39 representatives. The following MPs will retain their seats: Raya Nazarian—Speaker of the 51st National Assembly, Tomislav Donchev, former Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov, Denitsa Sacheva and Temenuzhka Petkova. After a hiatus of several years, Vladislav Goranov is returning to parliament.

"We Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria" has 37 seats, won thanks to the votes of 12.6% of those who had their right to vote. MPs from the coalition will once again include Asen Vasilev, Ivaylo Mirchev, Bozhidar Bojanov, and Nikolay Denkov. Miroslav Ivanov is also returning to parliament. 

The Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) enters the new parliament with a 7.1% share of the vote in the early elections, securing 21 seats for the party. Delyan Peevski, Dzhevdet Chakarov and Bayram Bayram were elected. Stanislav Anastasov and Hamid Hamid retained their seats.

The fifth party—"Vazrazhdane"—received 4.3% of the vote and will hold 12 seats in the plenary hall.  From the party, Kostadin Kostadinov, Tsoncho Ganev, Petar Petrov, and Iskra Mihaylova retain their seats.
