The warnings are for strong winds with gusts of 20 to 25 m/s and above

An orange code for strong winds has been issued in 12 regions of the country on Saturday, said the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology on their website. The code includes the regions of Varna, Veliko Tarnovo, Vratsa, Dobrich, Montana, Pleven, Ruse, Razgrad, Silistra, Sliven, Targovishte, Shumen.

The warnings are for strong winds with gusts of 20 to 25 m/s and above.

A yellow code is in effect for the rest of the country, where the wind speed will reach 14-19 m/s, up to 24 m/s.

The forecast for Sunday is for mostly cloudy weather, with rainfall or snowfall in Northern Bulgaria, Ludogorie and the Fore-Balkan, which will subside by the evening. Highs will be around 7-12C (7C in Sofia), with strong to stormy west-northwesterly wind.
