They will be paid until the end of April

The compensations for the increased electricity prices for businesses will be paid in April too. After that they will be asked to sign long-term contracts for electricity supply. That was announced by Prime Minister Kiril Petkov at a briefing on Monday.

Bulgarian citizens should not give in to panic, there would be no shortage of goods, Petkov said. He added that prices are expected to rise by a few percent, not in multiples.
