It was recorded at 5:23 a.m. local time on Friday

A light earthquake was registred near the town of Yakoruda, southwestern Bulgaria, on Friday morning.  

The quake was recorded at 5:23 a.m. local time, the National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography (NIGYG) of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS) informed. According to the initial data the earthquake was at a depth of 12 km.
