The parliamentary group urged Bozhankov to leave Parliament and free up the seat to be occupied by the candidate who is next on the BSP list
Yavor Bozhankov has been expelled form the parliamentary group of the Bulgarian Socialist Party - BSP For Bulgaria, BSP said in a press release on Friday. The expulsion of the MP, who is not a member of BSP and who was elected to the National Assembly on the party's civil quota, was voted unanimously at a general meeting of the Socialists' parliamentary group.
The parliamentary group urged Bozhankov to leave Parliament and free up the seat to be occupied by the candidate who is next on the BSP list.
During plenary hall deliberations earlier on Friday on a motion for rendering military and military-technical aid to Ukraine, Bozhankov expressed an opinion contrary to the group of the BSP, and voted in favour of the motion.
