Unstable February weather with large fluctuations in temperatures

The week of wine and love begins with a brief spell of winter weather. With the arrival of cold air from the northeast, winds will pick up on Monday, especially in eastern regions. During the day, there will be rain showers, which will turn to snow in the evening, overnight, and on Tuesday as temperatures drop.

In addition to the mountains, snowfall is also expected in the lowlands of western, central, and in some places northeastern Bulgaria. In some parts of the country, the precipitation will be temporarily intense, with the potential for traffic complications.

During the warmest hours on Monday, thermometers will show between 4 and 9 degrees Celsius. A cold wind will blow with strong gusts near the sea. On Tuesday and Wednesday morning, thermometers will drop to minus 3 to minus 4 degrees Celsius in Northern Bulgaria.
