According to the Central Election Commission 35,314 voters have so far submitted applications to vote abroad

4,786 candidates enter the race for a seat in the National Assembly. The female candidates are 1,439, the male - 3,347. 1,019 are registered in two electoral districts, Deputy Chair and spokesperson of the CEC Rositsa Mateva said.

24 political formations - 14 parties and 10 coalitions, will participate in the 19th of April elections. They have registered candidate lists in all electoral districts. There is one independent candidate in Smolyan, Mateva said.
