He described as "yet another insane decision" the refusal of the Central Election Commission to appoint Continue the Change members as chairpersons of constituency election commissions
So long as the GERB party is led by Boyko Borissov, Continue the Change cannot form any kind of coalition with them, Continue the Change co-leader and former prime minister Kiril Petkov told journalists on Saturday.
In his remarks to journalists, Petkov said that it is far more worthwhile to learn about the policy plans of other parties. He sees no point in arguing with the caretaker government, which has just a month and a half left until the end of its life. "Blowing the whistle against the caretaker government does not help people make the right decisions," Petkov said.
"It is clear that Continue the Change and Democratic Bulgaria will be in a coalition after the elections. The question is what format we should use for running in the elections, so that we stand the best chance of sending at least 121 people to Parliament," he said.
He described as "yet another insane decision" the refusal of the Central Election Commission to appoint Continue the Change members as chairpersons of constituency election commissions. On Friday, Continue the Change said they will appeal the refusal. "This is yet another insane thing which leaves the largest political party inadequately represented, but it was expected. One more thing we see is that more than 3,500 articles have been published about us over the last 30 days. This is a whole industry," Petkov said.
