The prominent Bulgarian violinist Vasko Vassilev will be the concertmaster of the orchestra for the coronation of King Charles III, the musician's team reported. The historic event will take place on May 6 at Westminster Abbey.

The Coronation Orchestra will bring together illustrious performers from all the UK's orchestras. The concert will be conducted by Sir Antonio Pappano, BTA reported.

"It is a great privilege and honour for me to receive this invitation and be part of this historic event. I accept this commitment with great responsibility, excitement and undisguised pleasure," Vassilev said.
