A red code alert will be announced
The new week in Bulgaria is to start with dangerously hot weather. The temperatures will reach 42 degrees Celsius on Monday. A red code alert will be announced.
The hottest regions will be those along the Danube, in Struma river’s valley and in the whole Upper Thracian Plain.
The weather along the Black Sea coast will also be sunny but with lower temperatures - between 31 and 35 degrees Celsius.
