On December 9 the Orthodox Church celebrates the conception of St. Anna. She is considered the patron saint of marriage, family, motherhood, protector of virgins, widows and pregnant women.
Today their name day celebrate all Bulgarians named Anna, Ana, Anka, Ani, Yanko, Yanka.
